Opera Hamilton proudly presents its 32nd season with one of Hamilton's leading arts institutions – Theatre Aquarius. Beginning with our October 2011 production, THE DOFASCO CENTRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS will become the new home for Opera Hamilton.

This move achieves three primary objectives for your opera company:

1. Uncompromised artistic quality. The DOFASCO CENTRE boasts the largest and most technically advanced stage facility in the City, including a full capacity orchestra pit.
2. Providing the optimal theatre "experience" for our patrons – a more intimate setting for enjoying our productions – larger allotment of excellent seats (more akin to European opera houses) – more performance choice and flexibility, including a Saturday MATINEE performance, a well-established, safe and accessible venue, with ample parking and numerous restaurants and amenities within walking distance of the theatre.
3. The ability to operate annually in a significantly more affordable and financially sustainable manner, ensuring a bright and creative future for Opera Hamilton and the arts in this city.
