Celebrate the 200th Anniversary of Verdi’s birth with his final masterpiece, Falstaff. Based on Shakespeare’s plays the Merry Wives of Windsor and Henry IV, this comic opera features the composer at the height of his craft in a work that is light, deft and delightful.

Opera Hamilton welcomes back an outstanding cast featuring two world-class Verdi baritones and one of Canada’s leading sopranos. Star of Metropolitan Opera and Dundas resident John Fanning dons the jolly and lusty vesture of the unforgettable Sir John Falstaff, while James Westman is the dashing nobleman Ford. Lyne Fortin returns as the clever Alice.
